Can you believe that Kinsely is 2 years old?? Her mom wanted to have a Strawberry Shortcake Themed party. We made the cutest Strawberry themed invitations using the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut Cartridge, we had to follow it up with an adorable cake.
We were lucky to find the Strawberry Shortcake Wilton pan on Craigslist just in time for Kinsley's big day. Since everyone wanted to come out to celebrate, we decided that in addition to the character pan, we would use the large sheet cake pan as well. We placed the shaped cake on top of the frosted sheet cake and decorated with tinted buttercream.Kinsley's paternal grandmother made her and her baby doll matching strawberry themed dresses and I was lucky enough to surprise her with the cutest Strawberry Shortcake director's chair.
